Lidhs’ Code of Conduct

Lidhs Tooling’s Code of Conduct has been developed to ensure that our business as a tool manufacturer is conducted in an ethical manner with a strong focus on sustainability in the work environment. The Code of Conduct applies to all employees at Lidhs Tooling.

As a minimum, Lidhs Tooling must comply with all relevant laws and regulations within Swedish industry as well as in other countries in which we operate. All persons employed at Lidhs must be aware of and behave in accordance with this Code of Conduct. As well as in accordance with any additional policies, directives and guidelines. Lidhs Tooling expects its suppliers and business partners to be guided by the same or similar principles as in this Code of Conduct.

 

Humanitarian policy

The employees at Lidhs Tooling are our most valuable resource. Lidhs Tooling is responsible for providing a good work environment with good and fair working conditions. Lidhs wishes to serve as a good role model in the engineering industry and constantly works on developing the work environment.

 

Human rights and working conditions

Lidhs Tooling must respect and work according to internationally proclaimed human rights and ensure that the company does not violate any of these principles.

Lidhs Tooling must respect and comply with laws, agreements and rules that apply to employment, working conditions and compensation, such as social insurance, salary and payment of overtime, working hours and the right to rest.

 

Non-discrimination and equal opportunities

Lidhs Tooling respects and values diversity in background, experience and ideas. Lidhs Tooling wants all employees to have the same opportunities based on competence, experience and achievements without regard to gender, race, ethnic background, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, political opinion, trade union membership or other characteristic or status that is protected by applicable law. All employees at Lidhs must treat each other with respect, dignity and general courtesy.

Health and safety have the highest priority in the business

Lidhs Tooling must create and maintain a safe and good working environment that meets or exceeds applicable standards and laws. Safety should always be the most important factor in any decision.

 

Drugs, alcohol and tobacco

Lidhs Tooling does not accept any form of abuse, use or possession of illegal drugs. It is forbidden to act under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs in the workplace. Alcohol in connection with staff parties, business trips or entertainment must be enjoyed sparingly.

 

Anti‐corruption policy

Lidhs Tooling is against all forms of bribery or corruption. It is our policy to comply with applicable laws, regulations and standards governing bribery and corruption in all countries in which we operate. We expect all employees to make decisions in the best interest of Lidhs Tooling without personal interests. Under no circumstances should our employees approve, pay or accept bribes, give or receive anything of value to obtain or maintain business or otherwise gain an improper advantage.

 

Conflict to interest policy

Employees at Lidhs Tooling must avoid putting themselves in situations where personal relationships and interests conflict with or may conflict with the best interests of the company.

It is our collective responsibility to constantly and consistently adhere to the Code of Conduct and to help others both internally and externally to do the same.
