Sustainable tools, sustainable working environment and working sustainably from an environmental perspective
At Lidhs Tooling, we work tirelessly to develop and improve sustainability. Our goal is to produce sustainable tools, have a sustainable working environment and work sustainably from an environmental perspective. To do that, we need to continuously review our operations and identify areas for development. As guidelines, we work with our business policy, the staff’s improvement proposals and laws that apply and may apply in the future. Everything we do is linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and ISO certifications in the areas of quality management, environmental management and occupational health and safety.
Our aspiration to be a leading tool manufacturer in a changing world demands a high level of flexibility and creativity. At Lidhs, we constantly invest in innovative, new solutions that help us create a sustainable and cost-effective manufacturing process. This is positive both for you as a customer and for the environment.
New initiatives for improved sustainability
We have already introduced a number of sustainable initiatives in and for our business. Our main focus is on the simulation of our tools, which are constantly being developed and improved. We work to reduce energy consumption and have, among other things, installed LED lighting in our workshop. The workshop also has a well-designed waste sorting facility where we sort scrap steel, steel shavings, corrugated cardboard, soft plastics and more.
Going forward, we plan to participate in research projects on fuel cells and material utilisation. We also plan to hold more enjoyable activities for our staff to become even better. Not only from an environmental point of view, but also with quality and the working environment in mind.
We simulate, design and manufacture forming tools and production solutions for the manufacturing industry, which is at the core of our business world. Without tools, neither the automotive industry, the furniture industry nor the white goods industry would have been able to manufacture their products. So, we know that tool manufacturing is an industry of the future, and at Lidhs, we are future-ready! We intend to face the future with sustainability in focus and thereby contribute to a sustainable Swedish industry.
