What does your tool manufacturing process involve?
At Lidhs, we use a cost-effective, multi-step process to manufacture our tools. You can read more about the process under “Working with Lidhs”.
What sheet thicknesses can you manufacture tools in?
Lidhs Tooling manufactures tools in sheet thicknesses from 0.10 mm and up.
Does Lidhs make prototypes?
Yes. Lidhs works with both tool manufacturing and prototype manufacturing. You can read more about how we work with prototypes under “Prototype manufacturing”.
What makes your toolmaking cost-effective?
We are specialists in simulation. Simulating the tool allows us to detect and remedy any deficiencies in advance, saving on resources. Read more about simulation and its benefits under “Sheet simulation”.
How does Lidhs work with sustainability?
Lidhs works actively with sustainability issues, among other things by implementing more sustainable technologies and streamlining the use of resources. You can read more about our sustainability work under “Sustainability”.
Is Lidhs Tooling ISO certified?
Yes, at Lidhs we have three ISO certifications in the areas of quality management (ISO 9001), environmental management (ISO 1400) and occupational health and safety (ISO 45001). Read more about our certifications and what they mean under “ISO certifications”.
Do you service tools that go into production?
Yes. We have a separate department that works solely with servicing. In addition to servicing tools in production, we can also help with spare parts, subcontracting and 3D measurement.

What machines do you use?
At Lidhs, we have a state-of-the-art machinery pool that consists of CNC milling machines, EDM and grinding machines, to name but a few. A complete list of all our machinery can be found under “Machinery pool”.
