Not only do we create tools of the highest quality at Lidhs Tooling, but we also work with prototyping. Creating a prototype provides an early sample of the tool and helps with visualisation. Prototyping before production is also a way to improve the sustainability of the manufacturing process.
We can create prototypes of many different types of sheet metal parts. And, like our tool manufacturing, our prototyping takes place through a cost-effective and time-efficient process with sustainability in focus.
When we develop a prototype, our design department works closely with the simulation. After a review, our designers draw the component in question and simulate the design. The simulation provides us with information about the manufacturability of the component. If the result shows that it is not manufacturable, we help and come up with suggestions for changes. Working with you, we develop a new, manufacturable design, which is then used to create a physical prototype.
