Assembly – the finished tool emerges

Assembly of follow-on tools, transfer tools, forming tools, press tools and cutting tools

After design, simulation and manufacturing in milling machines and EDM, the components of the tool have taken their physical form. The components are then sent on to assembly, where the finished tool emerges.

At Lidhs Tooling, our assemblers have a wide range of skills when it comes to tool assembly, assembling follow-on tools, transfer tools, forming tools, press tools, cutting tools and more in our assembly hall. We have a modern assembly hall with a large lifting capacity that can lift up to 16 tonnes. There are also three presses, with a pressing force of up to 630 tonnes. The presses are used to efficiently assemble, test and fine tune the tools.

We quality assure our tools in several stages. During assembly, we check the quality by measuring and pre-assembling the tool. When the tool is fully assembled, it is given a trial run in one of our presses. When a tool is assembled, tested, adjusted and can produce an approved and dimensionally correct part, the tool is ready for delivery. This quality assurance, coupled with our unique production process, results in us contributing to a more sustainable Swedish industry, and you get world-class tools.
